Then Ramblers Retreat, a moored houseboat is your answer. A great place to bed down for the night as part of your journey or as a place to stay for several days.

• The location is to die for – peaceful, sheltered, calm and quiet – yet only 300 metres walk along the riverfront to the Renmark Hotel and the Renmark Club for your meals or entertainment.  
  
  
• Fancy a private BBQ?  Then use the BBQ on the front deck.
  
  
• Afterwards kick back with a drink in a chair on the large rear deck , looking out over the water, watching the setting sun or the reflection of the town lights on the river at night.
  
  
• Do you want plenty of room to move when staying overnight or just for a few days? How about a whole boat to yourselves? Three separate bedrooms on Ramblers Retreat gives you a choice of sleeping arrangements.
  
  
• Appreciate the quiet – no noisy generators – all solar power or LPG is used. 12 volt TV, DVD and radio are available if needed. Alas no airconditioning.
  
  
• Remember the fun of playing card and board games? Get them out and open them up -  laugh and reminisce with your partner.
  
  
• Retail therapy or just browsing, can be satisfied with a 7 minute walk into the town centre.
  
  
• No need for lots of packing – only your own personal gear. All linen and cooking equipment is provided. (Breakfast provisions can be arranged as an additional cost. Please arrange with management).
  
  
• Swimming off the rear deck is a great way cool down or get fit in the warmer weather – take all commonsense precautions as you would anywhere swimming in a river.
  
  
• Don’t want to leave your “mates” at home? Talk to us to make arrangements for having your pets  stay with you.
